Another spammy email came into my inbox today, so i thought I would see if it was anything other than a scam. Here is the email:
The link in this junk email sent me to a site called the Freedom Project. Here is a screengrab of the video that plays on the site. It claims to tell you that it is “Verifying” your invitation, but thats clearly bullshit as I have looked at the source video file and its the same for anyone who views it. This is an old trick designed to create “False Scarcity”. Effectively, this makes you think that it is an exclusive club for members only. Its not.

The next part of the video shows a few very unconvincing “Testimonials”. These look very amateurish and are most likely fakes made by freelancers on one of the many websites that people use to sell fake video testimonials. To help confirm my suspicions, I took a couple of them and did some digging on Fiverr.com.
This girl was my first target:
I then took a look in the video category on Fiverr.com and in about 2 minutes I found this:
Same woman, same outfit, same background – Clearly a fake testimonial. I tried again with another one just to confirm my suspicions:
This one took me even less time to find on Fiverr.com:
I decided not to waste any more time on reviewing the “Freedom Project” as its clearly a pile of fake junk designed to fool binary traders to deposit at a broker for some kind of kickback. It wouldn’t surprise me to discover that its another crappy Autotrader. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
